sea planes fly swoop float to the rhythm of tides
7,000 tonnes of blue and white steel sail the Georgia Strait
here the sea is master to get where we need to go
ahhh…no man is an island

dancing between great jetties the tide runs
leaving a shining harvest star fish hugging
black silty shelled strewn beaches
promising the renewal of ocean fauna

Sailing
out on the bay sails unfurl winds swirl
riding waves standing tall tacking true and straight
staring at the sea is sailing a little
shiver me timbers
