Anatomy of a Century Old Dairy Barn

and on his farm he had a cow

faded grey and silver an old barn sleeps

ee-i-ee-i-o

ignored by the highway nearing its end

with a moo-moo here

cow stanchions bull pen horse stalls are empty

and a moo-moo there

there was a time when the loft was full of hay

here a moo there a moo

weary hinges hanging tired windows slightly slanted

everywhere a moo-moo

now a lofty condo for pigeons

Old Macdonald had a farm

ee-i-ee-i-o

Anatomy of a Canadian Summer Garden
Mary Mary quite contrary

robin’s song at daybreak

how does your garden grow

oh..! spring has come to our garden

with silver bells and cockle-shells

floating lazily through summer sun

and pretty maids all in a row

sprinkling paintbrush dripping with colour
